What is an Information Session?

Information Sessions provide prospective students with an overview of the University of Houston and the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design admissions process, academic programs, and student opportunities.

Important Update: Due to space limitations, the remaining information sessions will now be held virtually on Microsoft Teams. Sessions will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. Reservations are required, and attendance will be monitored. Registered participants will receive a meeting link via email. No additional sessions will occur after February 7, as this is beyond the Fall 2025 priority deadline.

Group Visits to the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design

Thank you for your interest in visiting the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design! Group visits provide an opportunity to explore our innovative programs, learn about our vibrant academic community, and discover our facilities.

Important Information:

  1. The Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design will not host group tours during Spring 2025. Group tours will resume during the Summer 2025 semester.
  2. Groups are not required to check in with the University of Houston’s Office of Admissions if meeting exclusively with the Hines College of Architecture and Design. However, coordination with Admissions is necessary for campus tours.
  3. Groups must not exceed 35 people, including students and chaperones.
  4. Individual advisor appointments can be scheduled through the Student Services Office if needed.
