With degrees in English literature from Oxford, Satheesan demonstrates how humanities education launches global careers in diplomacy and international relations.

About the Speaker:
Sujeevan Satheesan serves as British consul general for Houston after a distinguished career in the British diplomatic service. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English literature from Oxford University and has represented the UK in Paris, Brussels and across Central America, Northeast Asia and the Gulf.
