UK Bound: Rhodes Scholarship Student Info Session

Rhodes Trust representatives Juan Sepúlveda and Simone Askew will discuss opportunities for humanities and social sciences students to study at Oxford University through this prestigious scholarship program.

Learn about the Rhodes Scholarship application process and student life at Oxford.

This session is ideal for high-achieving undergraduates interested in international postgraduate study.

Meet the Speakers:

  • Juan Sepúlveda serves as the District 8 Secretary for the Rhodes Trust and is the Ron Calgaard Distinguished Professor of Practice in Political Science at Trinity University. He is the third Latino ever awarded a Rhodes Scholarship.

  • Simone Askew is an Assistant American Secretary for the Rhodes Trust and a U.S. Army captain who made history as the first African American woman to serve as First Captain at West Point. She studied Refugee and Forced Migration Studies at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.
