Final Student Conference and Graduation Ceremony

At the end of each semester, the Language and Culture Center holds Final Student Conferences and a graduation ceremony. All students are required to attend Final Student Conferences. Following the conferences, students are invited to attend the graduation ceremony.

Final Student Conference

Students will meet with their instructors, review their Final Student Evaluations (final grades and instructor comments), and discuss their plans for the next semester.

Graduation Ceremony

  • Level 6 students will receive a Certificate of Graduation if they successfully fulfill the requirements of the certificate.
  • Outstanding Student Award recipients will be announced.
  • LCC scholarship recipients will be announced (if scholarships are available). Scholarship applicants must be present at the graduation ceremony to receive a scholarship.

Outstanding Balance

Students with an outstanding balance of any amount will not receive Student Final Evaluations, awards, certificates, or enrollment verification letters. Students with any outstanding balance will not be able to register for classes in the LCC or at the University of Houston until the balance has been cleared in full.
