Michael Campbell Instructional Assistant

Michael Campbell is a graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursing a master’s degree at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. His academic focus has been on counseling, with relevant coursework including Social Psychology, Behavior Modification, Multicultural Counseling and Research Issues, Physiological Psychology, Theories in Counseling and Psychotherapy, and Counseling Processes and Techniques.

Michael is passionate about helping others and has gained valuable experience through his roles at the San Antonio Hope Center, the LU Shepherd Office at Liberty University, Star of Hope Mission, and as president of a Black student support organization. In these roles, he honed his skills in conducting interviews, assessing client needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, providing resource referrals, developing curriculum materials, and offering spiritual support.

In his free time, Michael loves to listen to good music, find good books to read, and is an avid gym goer. He is also a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, and San Antonio Spurs, so you’ll find him cheering his teams on any chance he gets.
