Interactive Data Mining is the vital element to drive many scientific experimental projects. Data Mining is virtually a tool to extract information from the experimental data. The interactive data mining tool is a system that allows users to methodically control the experiment while the parameters are changing based on the experimental surroundings. Here the interactive data mining is called for a cancer drug design project and an environmental awareness project, the Virtual Prairie project. Both projects have many parameters; therefore the parameter space is huge. The goal is to use at best data mining in a broad sense to navigate in the parameter space with cost effectiveness.
