Withdrawal and Refund

After registration each semester, students are charged one semester’s tuition and fees. Students are responsible for this payment even if no classes have been attended.

Withdrawal Process

If you wish to stop attending the LCC, please follow the steps below to withdraw from the LCC. Do not stop attending classes until you have completed the withdrawal process.

  1. Email your instructors and let them know that you plan to withdraw from the LCC. 
  2. Contact the LCC in person or via email at LCC@uh.edu. Request the Refund Authorization Form and return the signed form to the LCC.
  3. If you are an F-1 student, you must meet with the LCC Director about transferring out, departing the United States, and termination of the Student Health Insurance Plan. Do not stop attending classes until you have completed the withdrawal process. If you stop attending classes, your F-1 status might be terminated.
