University of Houston Awards
These CLASS faculty members were recognized on April 28, 2014 at the Faculty Excellence Awards ceremony:
This award is given to a previous University of Houston Teaching Excellence Award Recipient who in 10 years or more of teaching has made sustained and significant contributions to education. The recipient is honored with a trophy and a prize of $25,000, divided into a $15,000 cash award and a $10,000 in departmental support. In the subsequent year of the award, the recipient will mentor other faculty and serve as an adviser to the Center for Teaching Excellence.
This award is given to faculty in recognition of outstanding achievement in teaching. Recipients are honored with a trophy and an $8,000 prize.

Jeremy D. Bailey |
These awards are given by the UH Commission on Women in recognition of faculty scholarly achievement. Recipients are honored with a $1,000 prize.
