About Mayra Santos Febres:
Mayra Santos-Febres was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, in 1966. She studied literature at the University of Puerto Rico and two postgraduate degrees at Cornell University. She is a professor of Creative Writing at the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras. She is the author of Anamú y manigua, Huracanada, Pez de vidrio y otros cuentos, Mujeres violentas, Sirena Selena vestida de pena, Cualquier miércoles soy tuya, La amante de Gardel and the Tratado de Medicina Natural para Hombres Melancólicos, among others. In 2019 she won the National Prize for Literature of the Academie de Pharmacie in Paris, France for La amante de Gardel.

Mayra Santos Febres nació en Carolina, Puerto Rico, en 1966. Estudió Literatura en la Universidad de Puerto Rico y dos posgrados en la Universidad de Cornell. Es profesora de Escritura Creativa de la Universidad de Puerto Rico en Río Piedras. Es autora de Anamú y manigua, Huracanada, Pez de vidrio y otros cuentos, Mujeres violentas, Sirena Selena vestida de pena, Cualquier miércoles soy tuya, La amante de Gardel y el Tratado de Medicina Natural para Hombres Melancólicos, entre otras obras. About Yásnaya Aguilar: 
Yásnaya Elena Aguilar Gil (Ayutla Mixe, 1981) is part of COLMIX, a group of young Mixes who made research and dissemination activities of the Mixe language, history, and culture. She studied Hispanic Language and Literature and a Master in Linguistics at UNAM. She has been involved in activism for the defense of the linguistic rights of speakers of indigenous languages, in the use of indigenous languages in the virtual world and literary translation.

Yásnaya Elena Aguilar Gil (Ayutla Mixe, 1981) forma parte del COLMIX, un colectivo de jóvenes mixes que realiza actividades de investigación y difusión de la lengua, historia y cultura mixe. Estudió Lengua y Literaturas Hispánicas y cursó la Maestría en Lingüística en la UNAM. Se ha involucrado en el activismo para la defensa de los derechos lingüísticos de los hablantes de lenguas indígenas, en el uso de las lenguas indígenas en el mundo virtual y en la traducción literaria.

About Claudia Salazar Jiménez:
Claudia Salazar Jiménez. She is a Peruvian writer and academic. She studied literature at the National University of San Marcos and has a Ph.D. in Latin American Literature by the University of New York (NYU). Her first novel La sangre de la aurora, written from a female perspective on the internal armed conflict in Peru, won the Las Americas Narrative Award in 2014. Her research and publication projects link the writings of the self with the policies of the memory. She has edited the anthologies Voces para Lilith. Literatura contemporánea de temática lésbica en Latinoamérica, Escribir en Nueva York Antología de narradores hispanoamericanos and Pachacuti feminista, which will be published this year.

Claudia Salazar Jiménez. Es escritora y académica peruana. Estudió Literatura en la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos y es Ph.D. en Literatura Latinoamericana por la Universidad de Nueva York (NYU).  Su primera novela La sangre de la aurora, escrita desde una perspectiva femenina sobre el conflicto armado interno del Perú, obtuvo el Premio Las Américas de Narrativa en 2014. About Giovanna Rivero:
Giovanna Rivero (Bolivia, 1972). She has published stories and novels, such as Para comerte mejor (2015), 98 segundos sin sombra (2014), among other books. She participated in the Iowa Writing Program in 2004. In 2011 she was selected by the Guadalajara International Book Fair as one of "The 25 Best Kept Literary Secrets in Latin America." She obtained a doctorate in literature from the University of Florida (2015).

Giovanna Rivero (Bolivia, 1972). Ha publicado cuentos y novelas, tales como Para comerte mejor (2015), 98 segundos sin sombra (2014), entre otros libros. Participó del Iowa Writing Program en 2004. En 2011 fue seleccionada por la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara como uno de “Los 25 Secretos Literarios Mejor Guardados de América Latina”. Obtuvo un doctorado en literatura por University of Florida (2015).

About Magela Baudoin:
Magela Baudoin. Writer and Bolivian journalist, author of the interview book Mujeres de Costado (Plural 2010); of the novel El sonido de la H, with which she received the National Novel Award 2014 (Santillana-Bolivia); and from the book of stories La composición de la sal (Plural 2014), which won the Hispano-American Prize for Story Gabriel García Márquez (2015) and has been translated into English, Portuguese and Arabic and published in Colombia, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina , Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Brazil, Egypt and the United States. She is the director of the Bolivian literature magazine El Ansia and directs together with the writer Giovanna Rivero the Mantis editorial collection, which disseminates the literary work of writers from Latin America. She is founder and teaches in the Creative Writing Program of the Private University of Santa Cruz de la Sierra (UPSA). She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Roman Literature and Languages at the University of Oregon, USA.

Magela Baudoin. Escritora y periodista boliviana, autora del libro de entrevistas Mujeres de Costado (Plural 2010); de la novela El sonido de la H, con la que recibió el Premio Nacional de Novela 2014 (Santillana-Bolivia); y del libro de cuentos La composición de la sal (Plural 2014), que ganó el Premio Hispanoamericano de Cuento Gabriel García Márquez (2015) y ha sido traducido al inglés, al portugués y al árabe y editado en Colombia, México, Bolivia, Argentina, Perú, Chile, Ecuador, España, Brasil, Egipto y Estados Unidos. Es directora de la revista de literatura boliviana El Ansia y dirige junto a la escritora Giovanna Rivero la colección editorial Mantis, que difunde el trabajo literario de escritoras de Hispanoamérica. Es fundadora y enseña en el Programa de Escritura Creativa de la Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra (UPSA). Actualmente cursa un doctorado en Literatura y Lenguas Romances en la Universidad de Oregon, EEUU.

About Belén Gopegui:
Belén Gopegui nace en Madrid en 1963, Licenciada en Derecho (UAM) Doctora en Humanidades (UC3M) Ha escrito más de diez novelas, guiones de cine y ensayos. Algunos de sus títulos son La escala de los mapas (publicada en Estados Unidos por City Lights), La conquista del aire, Deseo de ser punk y El comité de la noche.

Belén Gopegui was born in Madrid in 1963. Law Degree (UAM) and Doctor in Humanities (UC3M). She has written more than ten novels, film scripts, and essays. Some of its titles are The scale of the maps (published in the United States by City Lights), La conquista del aire, Deseo de ser punk and El comité de la noche.
