Elizabeth Anderson-Fletcher is an associate professor of supply chain management in the department of decision and information sciences in the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. She also serves in the Hobby School of Public Affairs through a joint faculty appointment. Fletcher has taught courses in production and operations management, supply chain management, service operations management and health care operations at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including Executive Master's of Business Administration degree and doctorate. She has been teaching in the Bauer Honors Program since 2013 and was recently inducted into the Honors College Society of Fellows. She has published research on topics such as health care quality, medical errors, patient satisfaction, employee acceptance of quality improvement programs and organizational culture. Current projects include studying mental wellness and suicide prevention in firefighters, with a particular focus on developing and implementing behavioral health and wellness initiatives. Fletcher also serves as a volunteer firefighter, safety officer, and chaplain with Cypress Creek Fire Department in Northwest Harris County, Texas.
