    Than is one of only two undergraduate students selected to work at the UH Sequencing Core (UH-SEQ) and has earned several prestigious honors, including the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, the American Heart Association UH-HEART Fellowship, UH Provost’s Undergraduate Research Scholarship, and UH STEM RISE Fellowship.

    The Honors College welcomes applications from students entering the University of Houston as freshmen, students enrolled at the University for one or several semesters and students transferring from other colleges and universities.

    There's no substitute for seeing the University of Houston for yourself. We encourage prospective students and their families to meet faculty and staff and see the campus. Prospective students have several opportunities to visit the Honors College — the Cougar Preview, one of our High School Senior Open Houses or an Individual Visit!
