Bryn Ford is an instructional assistant professor in the Honors College. He completed his doctorate in ancient history at the University of Pennsylvania, and previously taught in the core texts programs at Purdue University and the University of Nevada, Reno. Alongside his academic background in Greek and Roman history, Ford has wider interests in the ethical and religious thought of the ancient and medieval periods and in great books/core texts pedagogy. His writing focuses on ancient Roman attitudes to the environment, and especially to the agricultural landscapes of rural Italy. He is originally from Australia and is a graduate of the University of Sydney.
