Members in Course

All chapter members elected as an undergraduate or graduate student are members in course. Selected students have demonstrated strong moral character and academic excellence in their undertaking of a liberal arts education. This education includes disciplines such as mathematics, social sciences, humanities, and other courses that distinctly embody the liberal arts and sciences.

Foundation Members

These members have been recognized as Foundation Members for their academic or organizational contributions to the University of Houston and Phi Beta Kappa society.

Charter Members

Charter Members are faculty and staff who were employed by the university and were members of Phi Beta Kappa at the installation of the chapter. In recognition of this, these members have had their names inscribed on the charter.

Resident Members

Resident Members are current University of Houston faculty and staff who are members of Phi Beta Kappa.
