Curriculum and Instruction - Early Childhood Education (M.Ed.)
The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction - Early Childhood Education guides graduates to extend their pursuit of excellence as teachers of young children (Pre-Kindergarten - 3rd Grade).
This program is designed to prepare graduates to assume roles as professionals with exceptional teaching skills and aspirations. The program ultimately prepares graduates for leadership in the improvement of education in metropolitan settings, which is a central focus of the program. Students work closely with faculty and fellow classmates to explore and conduct educational research as they improve their research, writing and presentation skills, and learn to critically evaluate as well as implement early childhood curriculum programs.
The program provides the best possible preparation for careers as Early Childhood teachers and leaders in schools and child-related agencies such as hospitals, industry, mental health agencies, and associated fields.
Change the world in the field of early childhood education.
