Account applications must always be approved by your PI (typically a UH tenured or tenure track faculty member that is supervising your research). We do not serve private persons, we strongly encourage you to discuss with your supervisor before applying for an account.

The HPE DSI cluster account request process assumes that the tenured applicants already possess Cougarnet credentials (i.e., an email address ending in @central.uh.edu or @cougarnet.uh.edu).  Applicants without Cougarnet credentials—including tenure-track or tenured faculty from non-main campus UH locations (e.g., UH Clear Lake, UH Sugar Land, UH Katy, UH Downtown)—must first obtain sponsorship by completing the Cougarnet credential request form.

Account Requests may take up to seven (7) business days to process.
