Dean’s Report 2018 Features Career Development
The Hilton College Dean’s Report 2018 hits the mail this week! This year’s issue focuses on the efforts of our amazing Career Development staff – Colleen Gleeson and Gloria Ratliff – the evolution of the department, and today’s programs and resources that help students launch their dream careers.
Readers will also learn about the legacy of retired Director of Placement Services Mary Douglas who established the department in 1989, the new Career Fair Management class, placement stats, the Student Leadership Program and the endowments that make more internships and experiential learning opportunities possible, as well as student success stories and the professional connections made through our strong alumni network.
In his opening letter, Dean Dennis Reynolds provides an overview of the game-changing projects in motion during the last year. There are also news updates on the College’s building projects and notes on our newest tenured faculty members. And no annual report would be complete without a snap shot of the College’s financial health, and a thank you to our donors.
In anticipation of our upcoming 50th anniversary, a special commemorative pin has been inserted inside each report. The back cover also lists some key anniversary dates, so mark your calendars today for these 2019 golden events!
Pictured from left is our Communications team, who produced this report over the summer: managing editor and writer Debbie Maurer; creative director, designer and illustrator Katie Guidroz; and writer, editor and photographer Pearl Cajoles. They are excited about this report and hope you will be, too!
If you are receiving this Snap Shots e-newsletter and don’t receive our latest Dean’s Report, it means we don’t have your current mailing address. To receive future reports and other mailings from the College, please click here to update your address.
Here is a digital version of our Dean’s Report now posted on our website. We look forward to your comments!
