Students complete preferences and the roommate matching information at the time of application.  Roommate and room assignment criteria are based on community eligibility, preferences indicated on the application, living learning community participation, roommate matching criteria, and application date.  Housing attempts to accommodate all student preferences for housing assignments.  At times of high occupancy preferences may not be able to be accommodated.

Only students who participate in priority room selection are able to select their bedspace.  Newly admitted first year residents will receive their room assignment information by email starting on July 15 for the fall term.  Newly admitted transfer and upper-class residents room assignments are made during the first week of March, April, May, and daily beginning in June.
