  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

    Counseling and Psychological Services is here to help you on your journey to living life to the fullest. While some amount of stress, sadness, and anxiety is a normal part of life, we can all find ourselves in a place where we need a little bit of professional help to regain our balance, feel more at peace with ourselves, and feel more in control of our lives.

  • LAUNCH

    LAUNCH (Learning Advancements for Undergraduate Cougars of Houston) lets your success take off, with Peer Tutoring for over 100 separate courses, Success Workshops, and Individual Academic Coaching.

  • Campus Dining

    We view the dining program from not only a nutritional standpoint but also as an important social aspect of their growth. By offering so many options, it encourages your student to explore not only new cuisines but to also meet new people and make new friends. Dining on campus allows your student to take part in the socializing that goes on during meals, allowing them many opportunities to interact outside the classroom.

Campus Living

  • Building & Community Improvements

    Residents can submit online requests 24/7 to get assistance with information technology (computer, wireless, software, and email), residential facility or room support, and laundry room issues.

  • Faculty-in-Residence

    The Faculty-in-Residence (FIR) Program is a collaboration between the Divisions of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs that strengthens the connection between students' academic and residential learning experiences.

  • Emergency Prepardness

    The University of Houston is exposed to various hazards, many of which have the potential to disrupt the campus community and can have a significant impact on campus life and property. Residents should consider traveling to their permanent home or place of residence during campus closures for emergencies. When travel is not an option, or the incident is short term, links and information found here can support personal planning.

  • Living Learning Communities

    A University of Houston Living Learning Community (LLC) is a group of students living together based on a common interest. Living Learning Communities support high levels of interaction between students who participate in and contribute to an immersive, year-long experience.
