Foundation Experience
Our program offers a 15 semester credit hour foundation. This intensive curriculum is organized around content known as generalist practice in professional social work, and focuses on social, economic, and political justice, emphasizing critical thinking skills. A foundation practicum I (200 clock hours) is also required. The integrated foundation focuses on social, economic, and political justice and emphasizes critical thinking skills. Foundation courses are organized around a student cohort learning model.
Face to Face foundation students attend classes on Wednesday and Thursday during the daytime and complete a practicum as arranged between the students and the agency.
