Conference Assistant
About the Position:
As part of Student Housing and Residential Life (SHRL), Conference Housing coordinates overnight accommodations and meeting space reservations for summer guests. Various camps, conferences, and workshops utilize the University of Houston facilities. Conference Assistants (CAs) are student staff liaisons who provide a welcoming environment through superior customer service for all participants.
CAs are critical to the conference experience, supporting community development and relationship building with our summer guests. General work responsibilities include facilitating the guest check-in/check-out process, staffing the residence hall front desks, room checks, and on-call shifts. We are looking for individuals committed to customer service, building leadership skills, working in a team dynamic, and serving as a guest resource – a SHRL ambassador
